About Us
AMB Technology Limited has been developing websites since 1999. We can produce
simple 'brochure sites' of a few static pages, but we often go far beyond that
by producing sophisticated, high functionality, dynamic sites. For example, we
built a website that controls domestic electricity supplies, another that is a
sophisticated benchmarking system, several that help create and send out
electronic newsletters (about 50,000 a month at present), and sites that have
directories and allow a good deal of content to be edited through simple user
screens.
AMB Technology’s sites range from the simple to the complex, which means that we
can take on, or take over, a customer’s website and develop it wherever they
need it to go to support, or even run, their business. We offer to make things
work the way they need them to today and show a route to the future (and for
this reason we usually put a possible future developments section in any
proposals). With established customers we try to build a one-year rolling plan.
We seek long-term relationships with our customers and start building these
from day one.
Our continuing relationships with our customers is a reflection of the quality
of solutions and high levels of customer satisfaction we deliver. We are
expanding our base of customers primarily through enhancing or rebuilding
customers’ existing sites. Many people recognise the shortcomings of their
existing site and/or want to add new features.
We aim to give our clients everything they need – from designing and developing
the site to hosting and running it – one-stop, non-stop websites. Many of our
satisfied customers are prepared to talk to others about what we can do and we
are always pleased to put new clients in touch with existing ones.
AMB Technology is run by Mike Brading. Mike has many years' experience in the IT
industry in software development, marketing and business management roles. He
was involved in development of the technologies that form the backbone of most
Local Area Networks and the Internet. He worked for one of the great computer
pioneer companies - DEC - where delivering quality to customers and keeping
them satisfied were fundamental principles: principles that are now fundamental
to AMB Technology.
Supporting Mike is a team of web developers and graphic designers.The company
uses a mix of both permanent employees and trusted partners; this enables the
company to mix and match skills based on the needs of each job and the
requirements of the customer.
