Bronzeoak is a leading developer of bioethanol and bioenergy production facilities worldwide. Its strategy is to develop lowest cost production using advantaged feedstocks, with world-class performance in Net Energy Balance and GHG reduction. The Group's businesses are structured to focus on bioethanol developments in SE Asia and Africa and bioenergy developments in the UK and abroad.

Bronzeoak Group History

Bronzeoak was founded by Graham Stowell in 1981 as an engineering company. From 1992, it evolved into a development company concentrating on the bioenergy and special waste sectors. Bronzeoak has been active internationally, especially in South East Asia since 1995, becoming a recognised leading developer in the bioenergy and special waste sectors.

In 1998 Bronzeoak developed the largest dedicated animal carcass incinerator in the UK, owning and operating the facility for 7 years before successfully decommissioning it in 2007.

Bronzeoak started work on bioethanol development in the Philippines in 2004. It successfully developed and is now building the first standalone fuel-grade bioethanol distillery fed by sugarcane juice in SE Asia.
